Rachel is a Los Angeles native who moved to San Francisco to originally study creative writing at the University of San Francisco. However, during college she fell in love with the hospitality industry, specifically with pastry, baking, and desserts. Her desire to explore this passion led her to explore the culinary arts in many professional outlets, most notably as the Pastry Chef at the celebrated Michelin starred restaurants such as Spruce and AL’s Place.
This natural and harmonious connection of her passions for the food & beverage industry as well as her academic background in creative writing, she joined the team at OMvino to continue integrating her two greatest skills. As a Social Media Coordinator, she excels in creating engaging and compelling visual stories for OMvino clients, with her genuine knowledge, insight, and personality. She currently resides in Mountain View, California with her chef husband, Edwin, and their two cats, Butter and Churro.
