Jennifer Estevez is a CMS Advanced Sommelier who is also studying for her Master Sommelière diploma. Initially interested in science and biology, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 20 to begin college when she found herself working on the opening team at the Ritz-Carlton at Dove Mountain Hotel. It was here Jennifer discovered her passion for wine and hospitality.
After a year in the desert, Jennifer relocated to San Francisco, where her wine journey truly began. Jennifer worked her way through top restaurants and wine bars such as Press Club, RN74, Epic Steak, Michael Mina, Keiko a Nob Hill and Hashiri. In 2014, Jennifer began consulting on wine lists & beverage programs around San Francisco while working as a sales rep to help increase her sales and product placements, all the while people continued to recommend her for more creative projects. Jennifer left her sales job for the Wine Director position at Keiko and Nob Hill; while still working full time, she began taking on more and more complex projects when she realized her true passions lay in entrepreneurship.
Jennifer expanded her skill set and began to take on a variety of different clients and executed full restaurant openings, beverage program creation/development, marketing, social media management, promotional events, and PR. After consulting on three new restaurant openings in 2016 and winning a Wine Enthusiast Top 100 Award for the wine list she created at Sushi Hashiri, Jennifer decided to create her own company, OMvino.
As the founder of OMvino, Jennifer continues to spearhead PR, client acquisition, business development, brand development, brand engagement, and hospitality/ strategic consulting. Jennifer is also a certified yoga instructor, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and an inspiring philanthropist.
